Oliver Rd. Looking north. I didn’t think it was possible for my compositions to actually get worse with time, but I guess anything’s possible. I’ve noticed a trend, if I don’t sketch at least several thumbnails beforehand, this is what happens. I’ve also noticed that I’ve never chosen my first thumbnail as a composition. More like the 5th or 6th. I hope these lessons sink in. Happy Tuesday. And PS. Thanks for the 5k in followers. That’s quite mind boggling

This painting was painted en plein air on location. The inspiration is taken from specific moment and was not touched again in the studio. After the paint has dried it’s then varnished with Gamvar varnish for archival purposes.
