These Cerritos Rocks are my muse. I think I could do 50 paintings here of the light at different times of the day. This one started as a plein air sketch yesterday, but I didn’t get quite far enough before the sun set. I tried to capture the last 30-45 mins of light. I had to rework it in the studio today.
