Day three of our quarantine since we’ve returned from US/Mex. Days two and three were spent painting my studio. (Swipe to see finished pic) Thanks to my pops for helping me install this gorgeous skylight last fall. Now I have all kinds of amazing natural indirect light. I have so many fond memories of our last trip to Cali/Mexico. Was great to see old friends, and make some new, but mostly, the views. Oh the views. So many things to paint. I’m going to crush many small 8 x 10’s of some of my favourite views I saw in the past couple of months while we’re currently in lock down. ~ The life of an artist is virtually self-contained and time is spent mostly in isolation. My heart goes out to those that require being in public in order to survive. I hope at this time you can discover a hobby or “calling” that you forgot about. Being in isolation isn’t that bad once you get used to it. Take care of yourself during these unprecedented and strange times.
